Dear #LeopardsDen community,
I hope that this letter finds you relaxed and enjoying the summer, whether it be by the pool, the beach or in the backyard. We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming school year and looking forward to welcoming all of our new students and families, as well as our returning school community members.
As we enter the second half of the summer, Central Office administration is continuing to closely monitor our school enrollment numbers for the 2019-2020 school year in grades K-5 to determine the most appropriate number of sections for each grade. Middletown Township Public School District, the Board of Education, and most importantly, Lincroft Elementary School are all committed to ensuring that each and every student is provided a rigorous and relevant education, rooted in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Furthermore, it is critical that all of our students receive an education that supports opportunities for personalized learning and differentiation to ensure that each child succeeds within and beyond the walls of our elementary school.
In an effort to continue to address concerns regarding class sizes, academic supports for all learners, programs, and curriculum for the upcoming school year, I cordially invite all families to attend a brief informational session on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the gym. If you have specific questions that you would like to have addressed during this time, please feel free to email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have not done so already, I encourage you to visit the district website, www.middletownk12.org to access the video recordings from the most recent BOE meetings as well as the letter from the superintendent’s office regarding student enrollment numbers and class sizes district wide.
I look forward to seeing our entire #LeopardsDen family soon! Sincerely,
Lincroft Elementary School 729 Newman Springs Rd Lincroft, NJ 07738
