Lincroft School 5th Grader, Sarah Bruno is teaming up with Lincroft School staff members and the PTA to bring our school community together for an evening of fun and fitness while raising money for a worthy cause, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Lincroft students and their families are invited to participate in a "2K Any Way" Nothing But Night Neon Night Fun Run/Walk on the Lincroft School grounds. All proceeds from this event will go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The fee to participate is $20 and will include a t-shirt, glow in the dark bracelets, necklaces and tatoos. The night will begin with stretching and games, such as under over and red light green light to get everyone warmed up. The "light" run/walk will begin at dusk (~7:30 pm) and consist of 4 laps around a marked track on the east side of the school. Ice cream will be available for purchase from Goldy's Ice Cream Truck after the run and a portion of the proceeds from ice cream sales will be donated as well.

A Middletown student, Michael DeRosa, is raising funds for Dennis Zilinski II Memorial Fund for his service project this year. Michael just completed a successful drive at Village School and will he having one at Lincroft School soon. All donations will be going to the NJ Army National Guardsmen that were just deployed in January, including Captain Matt Zilinski, Dennis's brother. Any support the Lincroft community can give will be greatly appreciated.
Collection for the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski Memorial Fund
My name is Mike DeRosa and I am a sophomore at CBA. I am organizing a collection of various items for the Lt. Dennis Zilinski II Memorial Fund. Lt. Zilinski was a Monmouth County resident, Village Elementary School and CBA graduate. The memorial fund was founded in 2006 to honor Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II, who was killed defending our country in Bayji, Iraq in November 2005.
The items I am requesting Lincroft School to donate are:
These donations will be going to the New Jersey Army National Guardsmen who were deployed this past January. Lt. Zilinski's brother, Captain Matt Zilinski will be one of the Guardsmen who will be receiving these donations.
I will be collecting all donations Thursday, April 18th. Thank you for your generosity.
